It had been awhile since he.had gone to the mall. He normally went with his friends, but he didn't have any. He did have Casey but the dragon couldn't leave the cementary, so them actually going out on a date wasn't possible. He sigh softly, running a hand through his dark hair as he sat down in the food court, drinking a smoothy and was.lost in thought till something hit his back. He was hit with a drink and looked to the.source and saw a group of boys from his school had thrown it and.laughed. They shouted things.like queer and faggot at him. Alec just got up now and cleaned his shirt off the best he could.

But the boys were done yet, Alec took off running from the food court, trying to get away. He ran down a flight of stairs, going.to some underground lounge area that was empty. He actually tripped over a leg from a bench, even though he was hybrid his coordination approved. The boys had caught up with him very quickly and three leader punched him in the face. Alec didnt fight back, he couldn't expose himself to them.

At Gabriel's request, Alexis had set out for the small town of Bitter Springs. He needed someone there he could trust to make sure no one else went after Damien or Marcus as for some reason the two of them were important to her maker. The blonde didn't ask any questions, she just did what was asked of her and was now in need of some clothes to fit in better around town. European fashion didn't really fit with an 18 year old, not in a small town like Bitter Springs anyway.

In passing, she witnessed the scene at the food court, but didn't stop to intervene as she had a mission to stick to. She did, however, see the bullies run after the poor boy when he ran off. That settled it for her really, and she brought her bags with her and followed the boys. Normally she wouldn't get involved in human matters like this, but when she got close enough she realized the victim was far from a human at all. This was the hybrid Gabriel had been telling her about.

Putting her bags down, she stepped closer and grabbed the leader, actually lifting him up and tossing him across the room. Grabbing on of the other boys, she compelled them all in turn to forget they'd ever spotted the hybrid and they went off. The leader wasn't so lucky just yet. When it was his turn to be compelled, Alexis not only made him forget being tossed across the room like that, but she also made him walk over to Alec and apologize before he forgot all about beating the hybrid up and went after his friends.

"You ok?"

Although it didn't actually hurt Alec physically, it hurt mentally and just remained quiet throughout the second hit before they were suddenly thrown off him. Alec scrambled back, getting to get out of the fight. He flinched when the leader came over to him and actually apologized before running after his friends. He looked up at the woman who saved him."Arya?" He said, but focused more and could see it wasn't her, but this lady looked so much like her, almost identical.

"Im.....ok....." He said, getting up and rubbed his red cheek that was already starting to swell down.

The blonde tilted her head slightly at hearing her sister's name like that. This boy knew Arya? Was she in town as well? She had to be, Gabriel had told her Arya had Marcus seemed to be traveling together again. They had at the very least gone to find her maker together, so maybe that meant she'd finally get to see her again after all these years. See her and surprise her, as as far as she knew, Arya had no idea she was still alive.

"Arya is technically my younger sister. I'm Alexis, and you must be Alec. My maker is really fascinated by you," she said with a smile. After all, Gabriel had traded Marcus's memories for a witch that could make hybrids, so that should say something about his fascination. She didn't want to talk about her maker though, she wanted to know about her sister.

"They won't bother you again, I made sure of it," she said with a chuckle and gently tilted Alec's head so she could have a look at the cheek that had been punched. "It'll be gone fast enough." Dropping her hand again, she continued: "I can take you home if you'd like, and maybe you could point me in the direction of my sister at the same time? We haven't seen each other since she was eleven, doubt she even knows I'm not just a pile of dirt somewhere." Unlike Arya, whom she'd heard hadn't let go of her British accent, Alexis had learned to adapt to where she was currently staying and right now that meant speaking like the locals did.

It was actually scary how much she looked like Arya. He was just looking at the blonde with a curious expression before she actually revealed that she was Aryas.younger sister. He didn't even know Arya had a younger sister. He shivered some at what she said.pertaining to Gabriels fascination with him."Yeah I know....he almost kept me as a pet..." he said.

He felt her lift his chin up and bite his lower lip. He wasn't sure if he should just tell her where Arya was."I was thinking of going to see her I can take you to her." He said.

She was used to people mistaking her for Arya at this point. There was a reason she wasn't well known among the popular crowd of old vampires, because neither she nor Gabriel had wanted to let Arya know about her just yet. Besides, if enough people thought she was her sister, she could get away with it. Within the order, she got to be Alexis but out in the real world she'd learned to accept that Arya looked too much like her.

"You don't have to worry about Gabriel anymore, he found a volunteer and got himself a new hybrid. He'll be likely to come and help if there is an emergency again, but that's it," she said amused by Alec's reaction to the mere mention of Gabriel's fascination.

Upon hearing that Alec could take her to Arya, Alexis' smile turned into a slight grin. "Excellent. After having spent centuries being mistaken for her, it'll be nice to meet the real thing again," she said cheerfully. Another reason she couldn't really pass for her sister for very long, other than the slight differences in appearance, was that she wasn't so cruel. She'd been ordered to clean up after her sister on quite a few occasions, both by the order and by Gabriel.

He had no idea how Arya would react to this...hopefully Alexis is her real sister and not some enemy who is using her face to get close to Arya."That's good......I don't want to be a pet..." he said. Hegave a small smile at her next set of words and headed outside. He didn't have a car yet, but he did have someone to drive him around. He told the driver to head.to Aryas house before taking off. He hoped that he was doing the right thing and this was.okay. His phone was dead, so hecouldn't.just call Arya up.t

Alexis had no doubts that her sister would freak out when she learned about her existence. She had purposefully avoided her sister for so many years after all. Her biggest concern was that Arya wouldn't believe her and that Marcus would just throw her out. She didn't want to get in trouble because that would mean getting in trouble with her maker as well.

Picking up her bags, Alexis smiled at Alec when they headed outside. He had a driver, she had a car... "I'll follow you in my car, ok?" she said before she got in her car. That was another thing she needed to replace. A sports car didn't fit with small town life or her young appearance, but she'd driven directly from her home in the new york office to this place, so she'd wanted to be able to drive fast.

Following Alec's driver was easy enough, and she left her stuff in the car when they arrived. She was nervous now though. How exactly would Arya react to seeing her again? "I'm not sure this was the best idea I've had after all..." she mumbled.

Once they arrived, he got out of the car and told the driver to just head home for the day. He would just walk back to Damiens house once he was done here. He heard Alexis mumble, looking at her for a moment before saying."You'll never know till you try." He said and smiled some. He open the door, letting Alexis in and closed three door behind her.

He had no idea if Marcus was there or not, he was really looking for Arya. "Arya, are you here?!" He called out.

Of course Alec wouldn't understand why she was nervous about the whole thing. She just hoped Arya wouldn't throw her out and not believe her when she saw her. So she just nodded when he said she'd never know until she tried. So she stepped inside when Alec let her in like that. Looking around nervously.

Arya had been doing some cleaning when she heard Alec call out for her like that. "Alec? What are you doing here?" she called back before she walked to meet him. She stopped dead in her tracks though when she noticed the blonde he'd brought with him. She was dead, she was supposed to have been dead for over a thousand years. What was she doing standing in her entrance hall?

"Where did she come from?" she asked Alec, uncharacteristically tense for the vampiress. Alexis looked at Alec for a moment before she stepped closer to Arya. "It's so good to see you again," she said with a chuckle, wondering exactly how this would all play out.

It was probably unusual for Alec to visit Arya, he still liked Arya and would like to be around her more. He was quiet, waiting for her tocome around the corner and watched as Arya was visibly rtensed at the sight of Alexis."She wanted to see you." He said softly.

He didn't know how this would play out."Is Marcus here?" He asked Arya, maybe that would distract her from Alexis presence for a moment.

Arya was glad that Alec had stopped by, despite the fact that he'd brought Alexis with him. She wished her brother, her real family, would let her see Alec more often, but she knew she wasn't welcome at Damien's unless there was a special occasion, so she really didn't have that many chances of seeing Alec anymore. She ignored her sister for a moment when the hybrid asked if Marcus was around.

Walking closer to Alec, she smiled at him. "He's in his room packing up some stuff, he's moving in with Damien, so you'll get to see him a lot more from now on," she said and brushed a lock of hair out of Alec's face. "Even now that Marcus is going to be living under the same roof as you, you always have a place here as well, OK? If you and Amelita need to get away from the two lovers for a few days or if you need anything.." Now that Marcus was moving out, she'd be all alone in the house, with the exception of the humans and that was very unfamiliar territory for her. She'd gotten used to having the others around.

Alexis couldn't help but smile slightly at seeing hos gentle her sister could be towards the hybrid. It was obvious that all the stories she'd heard that she was nothing but a heartless monster weren't all true. She seemed capable of caring for certain people. That made her believe there was hope for her to have her request heard without being torn to shreds. "Arya, I didn't come all this way just to try to reconnect, I need your help. Well, technically I need Marcus not to oppose of something and Damien to agree to it, but you know them better than I do."

There was nothing humble about her request, but she needed to get Arya on her side first so she could support her when it came time to talking to the other two pieces of the puzzle. Upon hearing her sister talk, Arya smiled slightly at Alec. "Why don't you go see if Marcus needs any help and I'll see what Alexis wants," she said lovingly. Yeah, if anything were to happen to Alec, she would probably help Marcus hunt down and kill whomever was stupid enough to try anything in the first place. Thanks to Antonette linking the two of them for the duration of Alec's transformation, she felt like she could almost consider Alec her fledgeling as well, and that made him the first of many who had yet to lose his marbles.

He.smiled at her kind offer and.words, nodding at what she said."Thank you." He said and gave her a hug. He listened to what Alexis had said, wondering what she wanted of Damien and Marcus but just nodded at what she said concerning leaving to find Marcus and hurried to the vampires room. He found the.man packing his things and hugged him."I missed you." He said, being very affectionate with the other.

Arya smiled at the hug and just nodded at the thanks. No reply was really needed as she was happy to help the hybrid if he needed help. Once she was alone with her supposed sister, Arya pulled the other blonde into her playroom and locked the door behind them. Her look said it all really. She wanted to know why Alexis had kept her existence a secret for so long when she obviously knew about Arya.

Alexis started to talk the moment they were alone. She told Arya how she hadn't been allowed to make her existence known until now, how she'd been turned by Gabriel as well as how she was in town to do two things. Set everything straight with the order and make sure Gabriel was notified directly if anything were to threaten Marcus or Damien again. If she could, she would stop it. It seemed she'd won over Arya eventually as her sister hugged her and seemed glad to learn that she had someone she could let herself care about again. She was even offered a place to stay if she needed it.

Marcus turned around when Alec hugged him and hugged him right back, glad to see him again. "I've missed you too," he said lovingly. "I'll be seeing a lot more of you from now on I hope," he said as he ruffled the hybrid's hair. "Your sister know you're here?"

Damien had told him that Marcus was moving in. He was actually excited that his maker was moving.in, he had missed the other alot. "Yeah, her sister came with him." He said."Her name is Alexis, apparently Gabriel sired her...I don't knowwhy she's here." He added and looked alittle worried
